Partnership for Public Service

No employer offers a broader variety of ways to make a difference in the lives of others than our federal government. And Uncle Sam is hiring. From staffing new government positions as a result of recent stimulus bills to the anticipated increase in retirement trends over the next several years, our government needs expertise in auditing, accounting, budget, grants management, engineering, IT and many more types of jobs.

Many of these openings will highly skilled, experienced talent. Consequently, many of these jobs are ideally suited for experienced IBM workers from the private sector who are looking for a new professional challenge that enables them to serve their country. They offer not only an opportunity to apply your skills to address major issues on the national stage, but also many practical benefits, including first-rate healthcare and flexible work arrangements.

IBM teamed with the Partnership for Public Service to launch the FedExperience Transitions to Government pilot program to make it easier for IBM employees and retirees to take advantage of professional opportunities in our federal government. We currently have eight agency partners: U.S. Department of Army, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Navy, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
