Center for Research on Education, Diversity and Excellence (CREDE)
The Center for Research on Education, Diversity and Excellence (CREDE), one of 12 national research and development centersfunded by the U.S. Department of Education, assists the nation\'s population of diverse students, including those at risk of educational failure, to achieve academic excellence. The purpose of CREDE\'s research is to identify and develop effectiveeducational practices for linguistic and cultural and cultural minority students, such as those placed at risk by factors of race, poverty, and geographic location.

The National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition & Language Instruction Educational Programs, funded by the U.S.Department of Education, collects, analyzes, synthesizes and disseminates information about language instruction educational programs for English language learners and related programs.
